All it took was a credit, a few beeps, and a corridor that was too narrow to understand we wouldn’t be leaving quietly.
With “Level One No Escape,” PAC-MAN plunges back into a hunt that belongs to collective memory. At the center, the yellow hero advances under a column of colored ghosts, as if the entire arcade were agreed to block his way. The gigantic “1,” the word “Level” dripping, and the pixelated skull immediately set the tone: the game already starts under tension.
SKE does not reproduce the original screen. He removes it from the arcade cabinet, dirties it, shakes it, and shifts it into his pop & street language. Saturated yellow background, deep black, drips, splashes and worn textures transform the 8-bit aesthetic into a contemporary composition, rougher, more graphic, almost insolent.

Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.

Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.

ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or home décor stores.

Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable, they perfectly showcase the artworks.

SKE is a self-taught French artist and versatile creator who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring most of his works.
