These prints are unique proofs after Polaroid PN 55 negatives.
The PN 55 is a large-format Polaroid system, now unobtainable, which delivered in 30 to 40 seconds of development a black-and-white image accompanied by a negative.
The negative format is 10x12 cm. The positive being a control print rather unusable, one can consider that the original of this Polaroid is the first print made.
The system is comparable, in a sense, to a black-and-white print from a negative.

THE TAYLOR GALLERY WORKSHOP
The Atelier / Galerie Taylor, located at 7, on the eponymous street in the 10th arrondissement in Paris, is a friendly place dedicated to photography. It was created thanks to image enthusiasts, José Nicolas, photographer and manager of the place with the support of Jean Vinégla.
