Catalina Anderle - Sea - XXL

Modern, large-format abstract landscapes are created in my studio from a fascination with the fleeting moment, changing lights, colors, moods. They are more than paintings – emotions enclosed in a frame. They feature subtle, pastel tones that bring peace and harmony into interiors. It is a painterly record of awe at the power of nature and the vastness of space.

Technique: original acrylic technique on 350 g/m canvas, thick texture. No wooden frames.
Overall canvas dimensions approximately: 100 x 130 cm

Due to the size, the canvas will be rolled in a tube and shipped in a thick tube and box.

Colors of the painting may differ slightly from photos due to personal screen settings and interior lighting.
Photos for comparison are taken in daylight and with lamp lighting of varying intensity from different sides.

The appearance and glare of the painting on your wall will depend on your lighting.

Important information about my paintings:
My landscapes can be classified as neo-expressionism and abstract realism. Although they are abstract in form, they often have a real starting point – inspired by nature, photography, or even music. The paintings are often created with expressive, strong, and sometimes seemingly careless brush and spatula strokes. Thick texture, paint drops, irregularities, and visible brushstrokes are not defects but form the foundation of this aesthetics and its greatest value. They emphasize the craft and physicality of the creative process in the era of ubiquitous digitally generated smooth images. It is precisely these elements that are the “evidence of human presence.”

Damages occurring during transport:
Please check the condition of the shipment upon delivery. If you notice damage to the packaging, file a damage report with the courier. Otherwise, there will be no possibility to make a claim with the carrier company.

Anderle is a Polish painter, graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
She creates works in oil, acrylic, and mixed techniques, often with dense paint textures, forming original thematic cycles of paintings rich in light and shadow, color play, mystical, atmospheric stories.
Her paintings are in private collections worldwide, including the United States, Japan, Singapore, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
