Description from the seller
Charming small wall plate in glazed ceramic, handmade by Italian ceramicist Elio Schiavon (Arzergrande, 1925 - Tonadico, 2004). Trained at the Nove School of Ceramic Art and later active in Bassano del Grappa and Venice, Schiavon is a renowned Italian mid-century ceramic artisan, whose pieces are regularly offered at auctions (Capitolium Art, Il Ponte, Aste Boetto) and by galleries specializing in vintage Italian design.
