Handmade Murano Blue Glass Crucifix with Murrines and Christ in 800 Silver - Early 1990s

Elegant artisanal crucifix crafted in the early 1990s, the fruit of the union between Murano glassmaking tradition and the galvanic silver art.

The cross is hand-shaped in Murano glass of a deep cobalt blue, set within a clear glass edge. At the four trilobate extremities, traditional Murano murrine in a floral motif in white and blue tones are hot-inlaid.

On the surface is applied the figure of the crucified Christ together with the “INRI” plaque, both made with finely detailed 800 silver finish. The item is supplied with its original certificate of quality and authenticity.
