Table lamp - Steel, Glass - Design

Atmospheric and specially designed table lamp with a decorative braided metal construction and a large, beautifully marbled glass shade.

The most characteristic part of this lamp is the base. Around the central stem, several curved metal elements run, seemingly braided around each other. This creates an elegant, almost sculptural form. The warm antique brass/bronze-colored finish gives the lamp a classic look and forms a beautiful contrast with the light glass.

The generous glass shade has a soft white, matte appearance and features a subtle marbled/veined decor. The organic lines in the glass are especially visible when the lamp is lit. The shade has a broad, stepped rim and a domed upper section. On top, the whole is finished with a decorative metal knob in the same color as the base.

When the lamp is switched on, the matte glass disperses the light in a pleasant way, creating a warm and diffuse ambient light. The combination of the decorative metal base and the striking glass shade makes the lamp an attractive interior object both when lit and unlit.

Condition

The lamp is in good used vintage condition based on the photos, with normal light wear and age-related signs on the metal. These contribute to the character of the brass/bronze finish.
