Description from the seller
These are 2 Bacardi Limón posters for bus shelters (bus shelter posters).
The first poster is from a global marketing campaign dating from 1996-1998 with the caption: The Limón flirted with me. It features a nearly comic-book style design with a flirty woman leaning at a bar. In the bottom-right corner we see the well-known Bacardi Limón bottle with the characteristic wave motif.
The designer is not known (at least I couldn’t find one), but the distinctive pop-art style of this large poster could easily have been inspired by the famous American artist Patrick Nagel.
Title: The Limón flirted with me
Format: XXL bus shelter, about 118 x 175 cm.
Material: sturdy paper and double-sided so they were clearly visible in the shelters with backlighting.
Condition: in very good condition.
The second poster is from a follow-up campaign dating to about 2002-2003 with the caption: The Limón played a round with us. It features an almost comic-book style design with a casino setting. A nice theme with dice and fishes. On the right side you can see the well-known Bacardi Limón bottle with the wave motif. And with the text Citrus Flavored Spirit.
This campaign was rolled out at the time by the advertising agency McCann-Erickson; most likely the designer is the American comic illustrator Tom Lynam. The focus is on the chic nightlife.

These are bus-shelter posters in excellent condition. Both are double-sided (with a mirror image on the reverse). Posters can be picked up in the Netherlands after consultation. Otherwise they will be rolled up in a (large) tube and shipped.
