Description from the seller

Title:
Pair of lead crystal liqueur carafes with hand-painted gilded decor – Art Deco – probable Bohemia – circa 1930-1950.

Description:
Very elegant pair of high-quality lead crystal liqueur carafes, produced in an Art Deco style.
The two carafes are perfectly matched and come with their original stoppers, hand-fitted.
The crystal is particularly clear, heavy, and resonant, producing a long ringing characteristic of lead crystal.
Each carafe features an octagonal shape with beveled sides, adorned with a decoration of long stylized leaves painted by hand in fine gold.
The neck is highlighted by a wide gold band and a relief frieze.
The overall look recalls the luxury productions of Bohemian glassworks (Haida/Nový Bor region), made during the Art Deco period, around 1930-1950.
No signature, but the quality of workmanship, the weight of the crystal, and the fineness of the gilding attest to a high-end manufacture.

Dimensions:
Total height: 22.5 cm
Height without stopper: 18 cm
Diameter: 12.2 cm
Weight: 1 kg each without packaging.

Condition:
Very good condition.
no chips
no cracks
original stoppers perfectly fitted
very slight wear of the gilding consistent with age
crystal bright and transparent
Photos are an integral part of the description.
The carafes will be packed with the utmost care in secure double packaging.
Careful shipment with insurance and tracking
