About the artist:
SUSU, Susana Soto is a creator of visual and plastic arts. Born in Barcelona in 1972. Holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona in 1994. Participated in Vitra’s Summer Workshop at Boisbuche, France, in cooperation with the Vitra Design Museum and the Centre Georges Pompidou.
She has worked more than 15 years as a graphic designer, art director and as a lecturer in art schools.
In 2015 she embarked on the path of illustration. Since then she has worked as an illustrator for publishers and the advertising sector. In 2022 she began her artistic journey, in Barcelona, in a shared studio with other artists. She works with abstract painting and the portrait of the woman.
Throughout her career she has received several awards and mentions, both in graphic design and illustration. And she has participated in collective art exhibitions in Barcelona.
