A. Asencio presents Horizonte 01 XL, an original 2026 acrylic on canvas in a vertical composition, 100 x 70 cm, signed by hand, with COA, a unique work from the Horizontes series.
Description from the seller
Series: Horizons
Title: Horizon 01
Description:
Abstract horizontal-format work belonging to the Horizons series. The composition is structured around a central line that functions as the horizon and divides the surface into two visual zones.
Turquoise, blue, violet, pink and orange tones mix, creating contrasts and reflections. The lower part introduces a sense of depth through the repetition and distortion of the shapes in the upper zone.
The work is part of a series in which color, texture, reflection and the relationship between abstract shapes and landscape are explored.
The reflection does not appear as an exact reproduction, but as a reinterpretation of the original forms. In this way, the work proposes a relationship between identity and transformation: the same image can change depending on the space in which it is located.

Brief Bio: I am especially interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a viewpoint with which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity or contemplation, my aim is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. Pictorially, I am drawn to vibrant colors, strong saturations and fresh chromatic ranges. I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural surroundings. I often like to imagine that I am observing the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the realm of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive and introspective viewpoint.
