The painting depicts Medusa, an icon of classical mythology that over the centuries has been depicted by the greatest artists of the past, from sculpture to painting.
Starting from Caravaggio's Medusa I wanted to translate this icon to our times, from the shield to the skateboard depicted in full contemporary style, akin to street art also for the use of spray cans.
