This is a brown and beige coated canvas and leather crossbody bag from Louis Vuitton.

The Cartouchière is one of the house's classic saddle-inspired shoulder bags, combining the Monogram coated canvas with a wide natural cowhide side panel and a fully adjustable long leather strap. The rounded flap and slim buckled tab give the piece its distinctive silhouette, and the vachetta leather has developed a deep honey patina through years of use.

Observed condition details:

Exterior: The Monogram canvas keeps its shape well and the pattern remains clear across the flap and body. There is a whitish stain on the back panel, along with scattered surface soiling and light scuffing on the canvas. Please examine the photographs of this area carefully (photo 2).
Interior: The lining is darkened from use with general soiling and marks throughout, and the interior stamping remains readable. Please examine the photographs of this area carefully (photo 5).
Hardware: The brass hardware has an aged, mellow tone with tarnishing, dulling, and small surface scratches, while the buckle and D-rings remain firmly attached.
Handles / Straps: The vachetta side straps and tabs have a rich honey patina, with light staining on the left-side leather strap and distortion around the belt holes. The long shoulder strap shows age-related deterioration, with surface dryness, roughening, and flaking of the leather around the holes. Please examine the photographs of these areas carefully (photos 5 and 10).
Stitching: The stitching is intact overall, with fraying and fading of the threads in places consistent with the age of the bag.
Odour: No strong or unusual odour was noticed during inspection.

The condition described above is fully reflected in the starting price of this lot.
