Francien Krieg (1973) is a Dutch figurative painter whose work explores the human body, vulnerability, aging and shifting ideas of masculinity and beauty. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally and have received several awards and nominations, including the Dutch Painting of the Year award and artist of the year.
In 2026, Krieg exhibited with Arcadia Contemporary in New York in Five and Under. The gallery has since invited her to develop a new thematic presentation for upcoming international art fairs, such as LA artfair 2026 and Miami artfair 2026.
