"The Pop Art Icon's series" is conceived as an homage to the great names of the 1960s–1990s. Famous motifs are interwoven and reinterpreted. No. 2 is a reinterpretation of the famous "Numbers" by Robert Indiana, with Barnes playing with changing the form through arbitrary motifs.

As a graduate of UdK Berlin, Toni Barnes has dedicated her oeuvre to sculpture. The theme of art in space in 2D and 3D also manifests in her painting, which deals exclusively with the play of light and shadow. Barnes currently lives and works in Berlin.
