Painted with acrylic paints and Acrylic Ink on sturdy artist paper, repeatedly varnished.
The back bears my artist stamp, is dated and signed again.

Format (including the black mat): 30 x 30 cm
The painting has been sealed several times with varnish to protect colors and details optimally.

I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works are almost exclusively on paper. This compact and quieter way of working suits not only my creative process but is also an answer to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me space to focus entirely on the motif.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles – because for me art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga; since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor and heart. Maybe one of them speaks to you.
