Each capsule contains an iconic character, frozen like an emotional sample under glass.
The work twists pharmaceutical codes to transform nostalgia, entertainment and collective references into “emotional substances.”
Through this series, Popléa plays with our modern dependency on images, childhood heroes, and pop symbols.
The characters change from one work to another, but the principle remains the same: an encapsulated emotion, ready to be “prescribed.”
Between minimalist sculpture, luxury design and a gentle critique of consumer society, HAPPY DRUG deliberately blurs the line between art, collectible object and fictional pharmaceutical product.
Each piece acts like a mental capsule: an instant memory, a dose of nostalgia, a visual injection of pop culture.
