Description from the seller
Luca Traff (1998) is an artist who is half Italian and half Argentine, 26 years old, currently living in Milan, Italy. He studied fine arts in Buenos Aires, Argentina from age 17 to 20, leaving his studies to pursue his career self-taught. Using painting as his main discipline, Luca explores his technique in a versatile and expansive way, because he does not want to feel the self-imposed rules that would constrain an aesthetic. This is how his painting can be versatile and shift across different genres to suit his expression. Some of the painting genres that often appear on his canvases range from abstract expressionism, through geometry, and up to cubism, since he finds in this a freer way of working.
His themes generally reflect on the body, thoughts, memory, and time. Luca has exhibited in various places since the beginning of his career, both individually and collectively.
The indicated measurements refer to the leather placed on a stretcher (the actual dimensions of the canvas account for 5 cm on each side to properly carry out the framing work). The painting is made on a professional 450-gram canvas.
