At first glance, Pop Perpetual borrows the instantly recognizable codes of luxury watchmaking. But it is at the heart of the dial that the work takes on its full meaning.
Mickey reprises Banksy’s iconic Flower Thrower stance: that tense, almost explosive gesture, which actually projects only a bouquet of flowers. By replacing the anonymous street art figure with one of the most universal icons of popular culture, SKE creates a deliberate telescoping between childhood, protest, luxury, and urban art.
At the very top of the dial, the word HOPE acts as a true key to reading. It extends the message of the bouquet: in the face of tension, respond with color; in the face of violence, oppose a symbol of peace; in the face of codes that are too serious, inject a measure of freedom and optimism. This word is therefore not just a graphic detail: it gives the whole piece a more sensitive and almost manifest dimension.
Around this scene, the blue and black GMT bezel, the indices and the horological inscriptions reinforce the contrast between mechanical precision and the spontaneity of the pop collage. The surface is rich with colors, fragments and references, giving the work several levels of reading depending on the distance.
Made of aluminum, Pop Perpetual is a true functional wall clock of 34 cm in diameter, produced in this edition limited to only 30 pieces.
More than a decorative clock, it is a collectible wall sculpture where Mickey, Banksy, and the codes of luxury meet around the same word: HOPE

SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Laureate of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a publication in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself in the market for digital artworks, a major trend in the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.

His canvases capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola.
