Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows, starting in the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the early runway shows of these young designers who made that decade an explosion of creativity. He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and for Vogue US. An enthusiast and reporter of parties, personalities and Parisian nightlife, this has earned him today a very fine collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years; he was one of the very few photographers granted access at the Palace. He continues to cover fashion shows and fashion events.
