Nicole Lubbers - Crimson Reverie XL

Nicole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and independent approach to art and works with a variety of techniques and materials. In her work, color, movement, expression and emotion play a major role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations.

Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award from the Municipality of Montecosaro and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the 100 best female artists in the world and recognized as Master in Art.

Internationally, her work has been shown and planned for exhibitions in New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries.

A particular highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. In addition, Nicole, together with artist Michael Lam, presents the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together in this, forming a collaborative dialogue around movement, color, creativity and transformation.

Nicole Lubbers' work is more than a visual artwork. Her compositions invite reflection on perseverance, growth and overcoming challenges. The powerful colors and dynamic imagery make her work a striking statement within both modern and classical interiors.

Mixed technique – digitally created artwork, hand-painted

This artwork is executed in mixed technique. The base is a digitally created painting that is printed on canvas and then hand-painted and finished by Nicole Lubbers. Digital art and traditional painting come together in a single artwork.

This particular piece contains no relief or sculptural elements. The strength lies in the image composition, the colors and the combination of the digital base with the hand-painted finish.

Delivery

The artwork is delivered unframed and without a spacer frame. You receive it as a rolled canvas. This allows you to decide how you want to present the work after receipt. For example, you can have the canvas stretched by a framer onto a stretcher frame and, if desired, have it framed.

In addition to her work as a visual artist, Nicole Lubbers is also known as a doll maker. The artwork is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
