Elegant vintage pendant featuring an original Mexican 2½ Pesos (Dos y Medio Pesos) gold coin dated 1945, mounted in an 18 kt. yellow gold setting.
The coin is struck in 900 fine gold (21.6 kt.) and weighs approx. 2.08 g. It depicts Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla on the obverse, with the denomination DOS Y MEDIO PESOS and the date 1945.
The reverse displays the Mexican national coat of arms with an eagle and serpent, surrounded by the inscription ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
The coin is securely held in an elegant 18K yellow gold prong setting with a polished bail, allowing it to be worn as a pendant.
