Nicole Lubbers - Inner noise XL

Nicole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her inventive and idiosyncratic approach to art and works with different techniques and materials. In her work, color, movement, expression, and emotion play a central role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation, and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations.

Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the 100 best female artists in the world and recognized as Master in Art.

Internationally, her work has been shown and is planned for exhibitions in, among others, New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China, and Montecosaro, alongside exhibitions in Dutch galleries.

A notable highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. Additionally, Nicole collaborates with artist Michael Lam on the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two distinct artistic worlds come together to form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation.

Mixed technique – digitally created artwork, hand-painted

This artwork is produced using a mixed technique. The base is a digitally created painting printed on canvas and then hand-painted and further finished by Nicole Lubbers. Digital art and traditional painting thus come together in a single artwork.

This specific piece contains no relief or sculptural elements. The strength lies precisely in the composition, the colors, and the combination of the digital base with the hand-painted finish.

Delivery

The artwork is delivered unframed and without a stretched frame. You receive it as a rolled canvas, allowing you to decide how you want to present it after receipt. For example, you can have the canvas stretched over a stretcher frame by a framer and, if desired, then be framed.

Besides her work as a visual artist, Nicole Lubbers is also known as a doll maker. The artwork is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
