Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born May 1, 1931 in the village of Oleksandrodar (now Rakhmanivka, Dnipropetrovsk region). Graduated from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1964). Professional teachers - M. Kopeikin, L. Khudyakov, O. Moiseenko, P. Fomin. Worked in easel painting. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1966. Major works: "Yuzivka in 1912, Lenin's Word" (1965); Post of the Youth, Shakhtar (1966); "Construction of the Eighth Krivoy Rog Blast Furnace" (1968) "Grabar" (1970) "Construction of the Eighth Krivoy Rog Blast Furnace" (1968), "Tragedy and Mercy" (1989), "Veche" (1994), "Holodomor" (1995), "Sea Breeze 97" (1999), T. Shevchenko etched print for "Picturesque Ukraine" (2000), "Pope John Paul II at the graves of Bykovnyansky" (2001) and others. The artist's works are presented in public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
