Description from the seller

Fine art print on baryte Hahnemühle 310 g Fine Art paper. Delivered with certificate of authenticity. Signed and numbered.

Packed in a cardboard tube shipped from France.

Mathilde Oscar was born in Paris in 1980; she lives and works in Cannes.
Passionate about painting, which she initially practiced, she studied the history of Art. When she discovered photography, it was to transpose her pictorial ideas, strongly inspired by the great masters of painting, Romanticism and Neoclassicism. The creation of sets, costumes and accessories often adds to her creative process, but sometimes digitally.
Thus she develops a unique visual art that blends the codes of classical painting with photography and digital manipulation.
Often anachronistic and offbeat, her portraits seem lost in an unknown space-time, with multiple references to the history of Art.
Awards:
Gold Award, winner of Creative Photography, The Portrait Masters 2019
Silver Award, The Portrait Masters 2020
Silver Award, WPE 2019 / 2020
