Description from the seller

Historical pendant with rose-cut diamonds in silver and gold

Elegant historic pendant crafted from silver with a thin gold back, secured by means of XRF analysis. The refined design is richly set with rose-cut diamonds and has a graceful, hanging form that is typical of jewelry from the 19th century.

The pendant is set with 27 rose-cut diamonds ranging in size from about 0.9 to 3.6 mm. In the center is a prominent pear-shaped rose-cut diamond of about 5.6 x 4.3 mm, forming the centerpiece of the design.

The current loop has been added later and therefore does not sit perfectly straight relative to the pendant. Based on the construction and finish, it is likely that this piece originally belonged to a larger jewel, such as a brooch, and was converted into a pendant at a later date.

Specifications

* Material: silver with gold back (XRF tested)
* Weight: 4.5 grams
* Dimensions: 37.4 x 15.4 mm
* Diamonds:

* 27 rose-cut diamonds of approximately 0.9–3.6 mm
* 1 central pear-shaped rose-cut diamond of approximately 5.6 x 4.3 mm
* Total number of diamonds: 27

This charming pendant combines the romantic appeal of rose-cut diamonds with the craftsmanship of historic jewelry and represents a special collectible for lovers of antique jewelry.

Condition
Good historic condition with wear appropriate to age and use. The current hanging loop was added later and is therefore slightly tilted. It is likely a piece that was assembled in the past from elements of a larger jewel, probably a brooch. For an accurate impression of the condition, please refer to the photos.
