Tender Is the Night - Hand signed is a 40 × 40 cm giclée print by Le Yack, limited to 20 copies, signed by the artist, produced in France in 2020 or later, sold directly by the artist, in excellent condition, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
The beating heart of the corpus, finally found. On a terrace of white concrete overlooking a cove, a crimson-red convertible, lacquered and vibrant, with a domed hood and gleaming chrome. Leaning against the wing, a brunette in a white one-piece swimsuit, a high bun and ivory sunglasses, one leg crossed in front of the other: she looks toward the horizon, sovereign. Down below, a cobalt and turquoise sea, with a bold saturation, where a few bathers dive and drift, a pink buoy; to the right, the white stairs and the cubic volumes of a Mediterranean villa rise up in the cliff. Semiotically, the axis is classic and perfectly held: the car body red against the sea chasm blue, the white of the swimsuit and stone as breathing space. The woman stands at the edge — of the cliff, of departure, of desire. Subtle swelling, noonday light, stark shadows.
