It is dark and maybe a bit somber in the center sits a bowl the life of this space with the delicate expression of nature that is the flower and her friends the leaves on one side gently caressing the veil of darkness in the the dim corner. The cherries are the attention seeker in this scene with their wine red appeal. A classical still life that combines both the fragile and the playful fruit and flowers, such sweet natures gifts. This piece was painted with many layers of transparent acrylic glazes.
