A nun with a face bathed in light raises her eyes to the sky, tongue half-out, between provocation and fragility. The painting explores the border between sacred and profane, between devotion and bodily desire. The visual tension conveys a meditation on human duality, where spirituality clashes with the most intimate impulses.
Le Yack, French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is artistic director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, United States.
