Cheamil Ghiunaidin - "Silent Forms VII"

My name is Cheamil Ghiunaidin.

I am a self-taught artist with over 20 years of experience, working at the intersection of abstract figuration and contemporary composition. Born in Romania, with Turkish roots and Italian citizenship, my artistic language is shaped by cultural diversity, philosophical inquiry, and a disciplined visual approach.

I enjoy experimenting with different styles, and my current work emphasizes clarity of planes, modular construction, color separation, and disciplined composition. I currently create in my studio in Bucharest, fully dedicating myself to the creative process.

"Silent Forms VII" is part of the ongoing series Silent Forms, a recent direction in my artistic practice focused on reducing visual language to essential forms, rhythm, and chromatic balance.

This series reflects a process of artistic refinement, in which earlier explorations converge into a disciplined abstract painting. Geometry is treated not as decoration, but as structure, organizing the pictorial surface into a space of quiet tension and visual order.

The palette is intentionally restrained, built from warm neutral tones, deep blue, and subtle coral accents, creating a calm, contemplative presence. The work is executed on premium-quality cotton canvas, selected for its stability, smooth surface, and ability to support clarity of form and chromatic precision.

Silent Forms approaches silence as a state of concentration rather than absence. Each painting functions both as an autonomous object and as part of a broader conceptual structure based on controlled variations of form and color.
