Spanish school (XVII) - L'arcangelo Gabriele e Tobia

Oil on an oval canvas depicting the Archangel Raphael guiding and protecting Tobias; Spanish school of the mid-seventeenth century, mounted on its original stretcher, with a nineteenth-century frame. The metal clasps/attachment (attacaglia) are wrought iron and date to the nineteenth century (see photo). It has small flaws, very dirty. Dimensions: approximately 75 by 85 cm.
