Grande decorative covered porcelain coupe with a purple ground, richly adorned with a gold-toned metal mount in Rococo style.
The decoration includes several polychrome landscape reserves depicting water-side architectures, framed by gold and floral motifs. The coupe is surrounded by a highly worked openwork gallery and two large scrolling handles.
The lid is topped by a musical putto playing a wind instrument.
The base is particularly elaborate, with architectural decoration, foliage, scrolls, and small porcelain landscape panels.
