AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Painted on canvas 50x40; subject: the island of Ischia with boats and the Aragonese Castle, as with their boats on a sunny day.
From the photo it does not convey it as in reality!
Counter-signed authenticated with stamp and brochure. Tracked shipment.
Pasquale Vuotto was born in Naples in 1958: he lives and works in Naples where, in the first two years, he trained at the Neapolitan Palizzi Academy, then, for economic reasons, he left studies and, as a self-taught artist, attended the Posillipo school. He has exhibited in several cities; in 1979 he had two solo exhibitions in Stresa and participated in art competitions in Rome, Venice, Naples, obtaining the praise of the public and the critics.
The painters Antonio Sannino and Ugo De Cesare and Antonio Durso, among others, have written about him. His works are in several private European collections in America and Turkey.
The sedimentary emotional tensions within the interior during the continual confrontation with environmental reality emerge with unusual vibrations in Pasquale Vuotto’s painting, defining themselves as essential elements of a figurative style inspired by significant aesthetic, human, and spiritual values, which in the act of painting find forms and colors suited to express them with fertile incisiveness.
The artist identifies with the natural world, in its various manifestations of the landscape, sometimes reassembling the forms with happy fantastical interventions; the artist delivers intense modulations, capable of fully conveying that sense of awe, of poetic contemplation in which his feelings reside...
