Gaby Acevedo - Mar - Quietud (XL) - 'No Reserve'

"Quietud" belongs to my "Sea Series," a collection in which I explore the relationship between color, space and atmosphere from my perspective on the Mediterranean. In this work I have worked a sky in olive-gray tones, with a soft, matte appearance, contrasting with the intensity of the blues in the lower part. The transition between both planes creates a sense of pause and balance, not aiming to depict a concrete landscape.

Painted entirely by hand with acrylic on canvas, Quietud is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, conceived to convey serenity, depth and that moment of silence that can be found facing the sea.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For over 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color and light are the pillars of my visual language.

My work arises from research into the relationship between form, color and perception. Each series responds to a different exploration, but all share the aim of transforming the visual experience into a language open to emotion and free interpretation.

Each work is unique and is made entirely by hand in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
