The Mart Signed Museum
For years the project Where Are You Street Art? has told the journey of street art through authentic fragments of urban walls, symbolically bringing the street inside homes, galleries and private collections.
With this new series comes The Mart Signed Museum, a natural evolution of my artistic research.
I asked myself what happens to a work when it finds its definitive location. A museum protects it, preserves it and hands it to the future, but at the same time it confines it. It can remain hanging on the same wall for decades, seen by millions of people, without being able to continue its journey.
From this reflection arose the idea of a museum where some works decide, symbolically, to break out. Each piece appears as a fragment torn directly from the museum wall. It is not just the artwork that is taken away, but also a part of the wall that protected it, transforming the museum itself into an integral part of the work.
Each collector does not simply acquire a painting, but an authentic fragment of the Mart Signed Museum, becoming the next stop in their journey.
The work

The damascened wall, the frame, the museum label and the “No photography” sign are not mere decorative elements, but part of the work itself. The sign invites reflection on a society increasingly accustomed to photographing every moment. Some moments, however, deserve to be lived first.
Materials and authenticity

Natural imperfections, marks and dings of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work. They tell their story and contribute to making each piece unique.

The work is delivered ready to hang and is accompanied by the certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
