Aagje Burger began in 2008 as a company in antiques, art and curios. It is named after my grandmother Aagje Braun-Burger, who since the 1920s bought beautiful items at the public auctions of notaries.
In 2013 I shifted the focus to vintage and antique jewelry, partly thanks to Catawiki where jewelry in the early curios auctions performed so well that a separate jewelry auction was soon created.
