Lina Verano - Convergences No.22

Convergences No. 22 measures 100 × 78 cm (+3 cm border for stretching) and is part of the Convergences series. Created in 2026, this is a unique, hand-painted artwork made with acrylic paint on high-quality canvas and finished with a glossy varnish.

Convergences No. 22 explores the moment when opposing forces meet, overlap, and become something entirely new. Built through layers of poured, splattered, dragged, and gestural paint, the work unfolds as a dense field of movement where color and gesture continuously collide.
The electric blue ground creates a sense of openness and distance, while layers of pink, coral, orange, red, and violet accumulate across the surface. Lines cross and recross one another, forming a visual network that suggests energy, connection, and constant transformation. Nothing remains isolated; every mark becomes part of a larger system of relationships.
The painting embraces both chaos and structure. Its apparent disorder is balanced by moments of rhythm, repetition, density, and pause. The accumulated gestures record the physical act of painting—the speed, hesitation, spontaneity, and decisions embedded within each layer. In this sense, the surface becomes both an image and a record of time.
The title Convergences refers not only to the meeting of colors and forms, but to the convergence of emotion, gesture, chance, and intention. No. 22 is a meditation on how complexity emerges from individual actions, and how seemingly separate elements can gradually form a shared visual language.
At its core, the work is about connection through collision—the beauty that can emerge when boundaries dissolve and different energies occupy the same space.

My paintings reflect my life experiences and personal journey. Each artwork tells a story and invites the viewer to connect on an emotional level. I hope my art inspires reflection and a sense of connection. and please Note that I don’t have a team—I do everything by myself, from painting and photographing my work to building my website, uploading and writing texts , handling social media, sourcing materials, and preparing for shipping, packing, where I set up and do everything on my own. I’m not saying this as a complaint, just to share the reality behind my work.
I keep my prices as accessible as I can because it matters to me that people can live with my art, while still respecting the value of the work and what it takes to create it.

The artwork will be shipped as a rolled, unstretched canvas for safe delivery. Packaged in tube box and wrapped properly.
Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Minor waves or creases may be visible upon arrival, which is completely normal for rolled canvas. These will disappear once the canvas is stretched or framed by a professional framer.
All my shipments will be made through DPD,GLS or a similar company , always trying to guarantee the safety, care and efficient delivery of the work. However, delays that may occur are beyond my control; I will always be attentive tracking the shipment and any incident that may arise, being at the customer's disposal to provide appropriate assistance and support.
