Danish art faience Siena series ceramic set by Royal Copenhagen, dating from 1970–1980, comprising four first‑quality objects in 8 cm to 11 cm dimensions.
Description from the seller
This is Danish art faience from the renowned Siena series, produced by Royal Copenhagen (formerly Aluminia). The series is easily recognizable by its warm, earthy tones of brown, yellow, and beige, as well as its distinctive abstract, graphic floral motifs. The collection was created in the 1970s through a creative collaboration between designers Ellen Malmer and Ivan Weiss. The image shows several specific pieces from the series: the large round platter on the left (e.g., model no. 962/3726 or 962/3290); the hourglass-shaped object at the top right, which is a tealight holder (model no. 962/3875) designed by Ellen Malmer; and the two smaller, elongated bowls in the center that complete the set.
All items are first-quality.
