Visionary landscape by Mario Diaz Suarez

Born in 1940 in Argentina, he lived in Trier (Germany) from 1977 onward. Co-founder of the European Academy for Fine Arts, Trier; studio relocation from Paris to Trier; Förderpreis of the Jakob Eschweiler Foundation, Cologne.
With the raw material of the Impressionists and Pointillists, he painted ideational landscapes that live on the beauty of colors and their balanced composition. The airy, softer pastel painting suited Suarez well for conveying fleeting impressions and a special sensibility. The quickly applied, light-filled color pigments seem to pulsate as they merge into sky, earth, and air, only to flow into a kind of landscape that appears to vibrate with colorfulness.

Mit dem Rohmaterial der Impressionisten und Pointilisten malte er ideelle Landschaften, die von der Schönheit der Farben und deren ausgewogener Komposition leben. 
Die duftige weichere Pastellmalerei kam Suarez für die Wiedergabe der flüchtigen Eindrücke und einer besonderen Empfindsamkeit sehr entgegen.
Die schnell aufgetragenen lichtdurchfluteten Farbpigmente scheinen als Himmel, Erde und Luft pulsierend zu verschmelzen, um dann in eine Art Landschaft einzufließen, die vor Farbigkeit zu vibrieren scheint.
