Daniel Bueti (1957) is an internationally renowned Swiss artist, famous for his photographic, sculptural, and multimedia works. In his contemporary art, Buetti engages intensely with themes such as consumerism, beauty, identity, and transience. He became particularly well known for his altered fashion photographs, in which he deconstructs glamour images and questions societal ideals. Buetti's works move between photography, installation, light art, and object art and have been shown worldwide in renowned museums, galleries, and international exhibitions. The artist lives and works in Zurich.
