A blue figure folded, with a disheveled bun, eyelids closed, against a gold-yellow background. The body forms a full oval that nearly touches all four edges of the canvas.
Here, unlike the orange version, the eyes are closed and the tension subsides. The yellow does not clash with the blue; it carries it. We are on the side of sleep, or of the pre-birth, and the ovular shape says so before the subject.
Indigo blue mounted with fine, regular hatchings that give the body a velvet texture; the background yellow is brushed in a single direction. No decoration, no drop shadow: the figure floats.
Technique mixte: print with pigment ink, hand-applied brush varnish for the artwork’s durable protection.
Support: premium canvas stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.

RAMON AZUL is one of the creations bringing together artists Le Yack, Neo Pablo and Popsan within Atelier Joconde, a family studio where three sensibilities coexist: neo-realism, pop, and libre figure. Under the name RAMON AZUL, the Atelier explores stylized nudity in the manner of Mexican modernity: monochrome bodies in saturated flat colors, full and sculptural forms, pure color backgrounds, and the grave serenity of faces.
RAMON AZUL brings together nude figures with color bodies, blue, red, ochre, tucked in or entwined, where the skin becomes a state of mind and the body a pure plastic sign. The through line: a dialogue between the heritage of the Mexican school and a contemporary pop gaze, where the pictorial matter enhances and transfigures the printed image.
Each work is a unique piece.

Galerie Joconde est un atelier familial et un laboratoire de création contemporaine, où trois artistes : Le Yack, Popsan et Neo Pablo, croisent leurs univers pour produire des collections originales. Loin d'une simple galerie de vente, c'est un véritable lieu de production où les styles se lient, se confrontent et donnent naissance à de nouveaux mouvements. L'atelier travaille aussi bien en création collective qu'en démarches individuelles : chaque œuvre proposée peut être le fruit du travail d'un, de deux, ou des trois artistes réunis.
