Description from the seller
Monet-signed bracelet dating from the 1970s, made of gold-plated metal.
The model features a three-row construction: a central frieze of radiating geometric motifs, openwork and articulated, framed by two finely textured curb chains. The work, alternating polished surfaces and reliefs, gives movement and depth to the whole.
Box clasp with a safety chain. Monet signature on a plaque.
The Monet house, initially founded under the name Monocraft, originally produced monogrammed accessories before turning to costume jewelry. Its popularity grew substantially after World War II, thanks to sober and structured designs particularly appreciated by the new generation of active women.
In the 1980s, Monet also created jewelry for Yves Saint Laurent. The brand's vintage pieces are now sought after for their innovative designs, the precision of their details, and the quality of their craftsmanship. Monet was notably renowned for its triple plating in 22-carat gold.
