According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s value in 2021 ranges roughly from €600 to €2,000 for his paintings and multiples prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A voracious and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, straddling the boundary between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains that physical painting, that material worked with the body, a testimony to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented at the gallery Les Couleurs de l’Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau, Moldova, Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon (Abbaye de Paul Bocuse) gala evening 2023. In Paris, private collection gallery Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
