Vintage green lamp with brass swan-neck and green glass –
Description :
Wall lamp, vintage Art Deco-style desk lamp.
Base: swan-neck brass with a blown/worked green glass reservoir.
Condition: Old electrical wiring to review/secure. Supplied with removable glass chimney
Very beautiful patina on the brass

Late 19th – early 20th century (around 1890–1920) for the original pieces: the blown green glass reservoir, the perforated brass burner/nozzle, and the swan-neck brass base date from the golden age of oil lamps (Napoleonic III / Belle Époque / Art Nouveau).
Second half of the 20th century (1960s–1980s) for electrification: The black plastic socket visible on top and the electrical cord are later additions made to convert it into a modern bedside or desk lamp.

White oil lamp

Burner: Late 19th or early 20th century (approximately 1890–1920). The knurling bears the inscription “KOSMOS BRENNER” with the logo of the famous Wild & Wessel (W&W) manufactory in Berlin/Vienna, a major reference for oil lamp mechanisms.
Glass: Mid-20th century (1920–1960). Marked “Crystal” with a mill logo and the note “Imported from Czechoslovakia - 20'''”. This is a period-appropriate replacement glass for the Kosmos 20-line burner.
Reservoir: White molded opaline glass, very typical of bedside or counter lamps from the first half of the 20th century.

Reservoir: White opaline in very good condition, no cracks or chips.
Burner: Brass marked “KOSMOS BRENNER” (Wild & Wessel), with its original knob and mechanism. Wick present.
Glass: Marked “Crystal - Imported from Czechoslovakia” with the mill symbol (size 20''').
Style / Era: Late 19th / early 20th century.
