AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Maikel Sotomayor's Trote is a painting that embodies movement as a metaphor for identity and transformation. The horse, an ancestral figure of strength and freedom, becomes here a multiple body: one warm and earthly, another ethereal and blue, coexisting in the same space.
The pictorial gesture and the layering of planes reveal a tension between presence and memory, between what advances and what remains.
The color — red, yellow, blue — articulates an emotional narrative that speaks of the inner and migratory journey, of the vital impulse that sustains the being in transit.
Trote is not only physical displacement, but also existential rhythm, an affirmation of movement as a form of resistance and continuity.
