>>>>> Bio Carotte: A carrot that became an icon of Lyon’s street art
Since 2009, a mischievous carrot signed by the mysterious artist Mr Carotte has established itself in Lyon’s urban landscape. First seen along the A6, near the Fourvière tunnel, it has since invaded rooftops, signs, and iron gates around the city. An unexpected symbol, this carrot intrigues and amuses, to the point of becoming a local mascot.
Its anonymity strengthens its aura, as does the durability of its works, respected by the community. Like other figures of street art, the carrot embodies a unique signature, bearing witness to humility and creativity in a playfully offbeat style.
