Set of 12 air-blown uranium crystal glasses on stems by Val Saint Lambert.
A wonderful set of 12 Val Saint Lambert crystal aperitif or port glasses from the early 20th century, with hand-blown stems with air bubbles and bowls of uranium glass with thumbprint-smoothing, circa 1920/1930. These beauties are perfect for serving drinks or simple desserts and mousses.

These 12 vintage stemmed glasses display a bright green color under UV light, which is characteristic of uranium glass (also known as Annagreen or Vaseline glass).

Features of these glasses:
Material: The glass contains a small amount of uranium, used as a colorant.
Fluorescence: Under an ultraviolet lamp (blacklight) the glasses glow bright neon green.
Dating: This type of glassware was mainly produced in Europe and America between circa 1870 and 1940, during the heyday of pressed and cut glass.
The glasses are scratch- and chip-free.
