Gabriel Robin (1902-1970) is a French painter associated with the New School of Paris, whose works blend figuration first and then abstraction. Settled in Aulnay-sous-Bois from 1931, he long balanced his artistic passion with his profession as a shoemaker. Noticed by the famous art dealer Paul Rosenberg, his canvases have been exhibited internationally, notably in Brazil and Japan.
