Lithographed tin globe dating from the period between the 1950s and the 1960s.

More precisely, based on the cartography present, a dating around 1954 is plausible.

Material: entirely made of stamped sheet metal/tin with inscriptions in Italian.

Geometric base in red-enamelled metal.

Aesthetic and structural condition:
The globe has a few dents on the surface.
The semi-meridian bezel is slightly bent and is missing the upper locking clasp (a small detail, but easily repairable).
The colors, however, are incredibly vivid and bright, excellently preserved given the object’s age. This condition is rarely found in similar items.

Although it does not bear a visible logo, the design of the metal base (triangular in shape, also called a geometric fin) and construction details likely attribute it to the famous Italian company "Rico" (or produced for it).
