According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s appraisal in 2021 ranges from about 600 to 2,000 euros for his paintings and prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art lovers and collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon. He explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, straddling the borders between gestural abstraction and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testimony to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented by the Galerie Les Couleurs de l’Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed in Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau, Moldova; Cannes; Pézenas and Lyon. Abbaye de Paul Bocuse gala evening 2023. Paris private collection gallery Île Saint Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019."
