Description from the seller
The Course of Silence
from the series The Language of Water
The series The Language of Water explores water as the element that organizes and shapes the landscape. Rivers, lakes, estuaries, and reflective surfaces cease to be understood as geographic accidents and become visual journeys that articulate the composition. The Course of Water guides the gaze across the territory, establishing a continuous dialogue between earth, light, and the horizon.
The compositions are built through broad expanses of color and simplified forms that synthesize the landscape into a balance between abstraction and representation. Winding channels structure the space and generate a visual rhythm that connects each plane, while mountains, shores, and reflections participate in the same formal continuity.
Color plays an essential role in constructing the atmosphere. The interaction between warm and cool tones, together with the presence of light reflected on the water, transforms the landscape into a visual experience where depth, movement, and serenity coexist in harmony. Each chromatic surface retains its autonomy without losing the unity of the whole.
In The Language of Water, the landscape becomes a pictorial interpretation where water acts as a guiding thread that unites territory, light, and time. Each work invites contemplation of the landscape from a contemporary perspective, where the synthesis of forms and the rhythm of color reveal water’s ability to shape space and build an experience of calm and contemplation.
Authenticity of the work:
